This Designer Can Change Her Mind!!!!!

Even When She's Lost It.....

Hiya!!!!
I hauled my beehind up to my niece Miriam's bungalow
and brought her the newly covered wooden armchairs that I showed you in my last post.
Remember how I told you that I was going to mix the white chairs with the green in her dining room.....
and put a pair of the green chairs in her living room?????
We had been using just the green in her dining room...

SOOOOOO.....
I tried them out mixing the green and white.
WELL.....
We didn't like it that way.
No No No No No!!!!!
Side by side comparison.....

And we liked the white better in the living room.
Here is the way the green looked in the living room.....

And here is the way the white looked in the living room.....

Side by side comparison.....
I think the white works better with the linen press....

I love the way all the blues work together.
The room was not in the sun.....
 it was very dark.....
and I didn't bring my photography lights.....
so the pictures came out dark.....
and I had to edit them to make them lighter.....
 and everything got screwed up.....
but....
it is what it is, and that's all it ever will be.......

According to the ACA there is an extra fee for changing your mind. It's on page 5,478.

that dining room is so wonderful you could put all green or all white or mixed and I would vote it a winner every time.

The white definitely work best in the living room, and the green look great in he dining room. Goo job on both! It all worked out in the final analysis, and that's what counts. xo

I agree...do not like the mix together at the dining table. The green or the white worked in the living room...but, the white does look best! Hey...I think my eye for some things is getting better...I feel like I am catching on. Thanks for these lessons!!!

Love the end result! But anyway you switch them around, those chairs are fabulous - that dining room is SPECTACULAR!

Ah ha! I was going to recommend using the white chairs in the living room as a comment on your last post but I was to (scared) shy to do so. I love the green in the dinning room and the white looks super in the living room. Vikki in VA.

Being new to your blog, simply devouring every scrap of info you provide, jealous to the fact that you are more talented than moi, all the while laughing at your wit and humor, I would have to say you can change your #@&* mind anytime you want and ignoring page 5,478. Just saying. Alison in NC

I agree that the white does look better in the living room-not that my opinion matters ;) The pictures look wonderful.

Now, come to Virginia and help me redecorate my bedroom. Thanks. I have two guest rooms waiting for you.

I love how those chairs came out. I liked the green in the dining room too.

You're right (of course!?!?) The green chairs just seemed to blend into the wall. I prefer the white too. Are you doing their bedroom too? or do they know how? I'm serious, some people I know (hubs included) just can't picture a room with paint, flooring, bedding etc etc. I even had a friend years ago that didn't know how to nail a hanger on the wall for a picture!?!?!!!! I can't even imagine. (after a short while, I realized she rode the short bus) Have a nice evening. Paula
