Betsy's Musings

I've been thinking.....
(oy)
just random thoughts while I go about my homey chores around my abode....
Once again this has to do with laundry and underwear....
But this time it's underwear in general!!!!!
Not just mine....
why
do women's
not come
in
Forest Green?????????
They come in all the pastel colors....
They come in most of the vibrant colors.
Red
Purple
Navy
Ochre
and lets not forget Black....(a dress up staple.....)
soooooooo.......
What's the deal with dark green???????
Maybe it's just me...
But I haven't seen it....
But then.....I am not a big underwear shopper, as I buy my
 Fruit of the Looms on line.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
OK...
Next thought....
This is really a helpful life style tip!!!!!
When grocery shopping,
and you've driven to the grocery store,
and you've parked your car,
and it's time to get out and go shop for food,
IT'S REALLY HELPFUL TO UNDO YOUR SEAT BELT!!!!!
The other day I left that step out, and for a second was a little confused about why I was having trouble leaving my car.
The reason I share this stuff with you guys,
is to make your life easier, if you learn from my vast experience!!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now..... I know I've gone over this with you,
but it's worth repeating.
YOU CAN'T MAKE A PHONE CALL WITH THE TV REMOTE!!!!!
I keep trying to dial out with the damn thing.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
One thing I find very annoying.....
is when I'm watching TV, and the door bell rings,
so I haul my old bum out of the chair to go answer the door.....
AND THERE'S NO ONE THERE!!!!!
It was a door bell on the TV program.
Now admit it!!!!!
YOU'VE HAD THAT HAPPEN!!!!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That's it for today.....
I am really tired.....
I've been painting a chifferobe for my niece Miriam.
I will finish it tomorrow and show it off this weekend!!!!!
Here's a shot of the before.
Now, I know lots of you will like the original finish, but it looks better in the picture than in real life.
That's the way of a lot of things......
just check out Match.com!!!!!

On that note....

As always, your humor is delightful! Love it! We have two dogs so when they hear a doorbell on TV or a movie we're watching, they're the ones who get up to go see ;-) Somehow, they're starting to understand the differences of the real thing and one on the TV. It's a process...haha!

Thanks for the laughs! I hate it when the phone rings on tv, and I think it's mine, and I go to answer it! ;)

Was watching an old Gary Cooper movie this weekend and they were getting a chifferobe which made wonder why it is called that as opposed to dresser. Well? What do you think? And also, why davenport as opposed to couch? And no, have never actually seen forest green. :)

Used to have a forrest green undie set - in the 80's!

I don't know if that piece of furniture qualifies as a chifferobe. It is much too nice. Take extra vitamins, especially Vitamin D3. You've had a tough few months. Ann

And I thought I was the only one who tried to get out of the car while wearing a seatbelt. I'm in good company!!

Can't say I saw undies in Forest green, would be nice since that's my color! I have to make a point to look now. As always, you make me laugh!

I imagine those hippies in those teeny tiny electric cars could get up and walk with their seatbelts still on their laps and their puny cars trailing behind...
Hippies don't wear underpants. I heard that somewhere. If they did I bet they would be camo green.

Have you ever tried opening your front door by pointing your car key at it and pressing the button, wondering why it isn't opening. More than once. More than once.

Very cute and I must admit that I have done a couple of these things too.

Your laugh for today...it has been a very trying morning in central Texas. In the middle of trying to leave for work, I discovered a flat tire. I put some air in it and went 12 blocks to the repair shop. A large sign greeted me..."Cash ONLY". Whip the phone out of my pocket to call the patient husband to bring cash........oops.......stuck the portable HOUSE phone in my pocket instead of the cell phone....oops..... The tire repair team was about to split their sides trying not to laugh. I turned to them and told them to go ahead and laugh...I was!!!!

Oh dear - I have no longing for Forest Green lingerie - but I have done every one of the things you mentioned....should I be worried?

So just like others, if a person has interest in the fresh news updates, he can surely give a preference to online medium for
getting familiarity with these topics. Researches have also found the Broccoli also contains necessary enzymes such
as myrosinase in it. All kinds of sports news
today are offered live through the television.

This post reminds me of the time I mailed a letter to a college boy friend who was stationed in Viet Nam. I used US Savings Bonds stamps! The letter actually was delivered to him. He and his buddies got a great laugh out of it.

Thanks for the laughs! How about hearing a dog bark, or an ambulance siren on tv and thinking it's outside?
